When I was in school finishing my Fine Arts degree, I discovered my love of yoga. For the first time ever, I had an idea of what I wanted to do. So after I got my degree, I went for a different certificate, my 200 hour Yoga Teacher Certification. That is basically the origin of Drishti Handmade. I wanted to make and wear things that shared my love of my practice and promoted positivity, love and peace. What began as stamped cuffs, turned into crystal jewelry, and then malas. And it continues to evolve.

And evolve it has. Almost 10 years later, I have retired from teaching. My passions moved in different directions and I outgrew the name Drishti... It didn't fit anymore. So the rename to Creature of Joy :) Making and creating as a form of play and joy!
